Vestergaard Company is pleased to announce the launch of the Kalmar Motor TBL 100 Electric for North America.
The TBL 100 Electric offers an aircraft range from the CRJ 200 to the Airbus 300-series all with a single cradle.
Vestergaard will be providing 24 hour technical and parts support from our office in McHenry, IL.
Kalmar Motor will be celebrating 50 years of industry leadership in 2019. The TBL 100, first released back in 1993, offers high reliability, low maintenance and ease of operation. The powershift transmission and torque converter allows for only one electric motor to offer increased efficiency. The six lead acid battery packs offer central filling and also allow for increased cooling in hot climate locations.

Vestergaard Company is pleased to announce their North American division has broken all previous records for equipment sales and customer service contracts.
Country Manager North American Operations, Brock Crocker is quoted as saying “2017 proved to be our highest recorded sales in North American for the entire Vestergaard product line. In addition, our Service Department was able to meet and exceed customer expectations for on time service and parts shipments. A big thank you to all of our loyal customers over the years. Denmark will participate in the upcoming Football World Cup 2018 in Russia in more than one way:

Sheremetyevo has bought sixteen of the highly efficient Vestergaard VTS (vacuum toilet service units) and sixteen WS (water service units) to service aircraft in the busy Russian airport. The first units have already been delivered and the rest will follow shortly.

As a further development on the ZVTS (vacuum toilet service unit), Vestergaard Company now presents the E-ZVTS.
The E-ZVTS is a gasoline-electrically driven VTS unit containing all the valued features of the ZVTS, such as the vacuum system, fast and high performing operations and with a very high level of safety for both aircraft and ground crew.
Being environmentally friendly the E-ZVTS creates less airborne particles in the congested gate environment and no exhaust filter regeneration. The gasoline-powered chassis drives a generator, which in turn drives all functions on the E-ZVTS. As there are no hydraulic pump, pressure or hoses, the unit has minimal maintenance.
Designed for warmer climates the E-ZVTS can be fitted on different standard truck chassis to fit various operations. The E-ZVTS presented at the inter airport Europe 2017 in Munich, Germany is designed for narrow body operations with Southwest Airlines and therefore no elevating platform is needed. For operations serving larger aircraft, Vestergaard can install the standard elevating platform that can reach 3 meters above ground.

Vestergaard Company is pleased to announce the award of 12 BETA NG units for Integrated Deicing Services (IDS-Inland). The BETA units have just been delivered to the Philadelphia Airport and training has been completed. The units will be in full operation for the 2017/2018 winter season.
The 12 BETA units have been chosen particularly for their ability to deice wide body aircrafts.
Vestergaard BETA units were selected by IDS and the Airport Authority as offering the most cost effective and environmentally friendly deicing system option.
Brock Crocker, General Manager Vestergaard North America is quoted “IDS handles the majority of the commercial flights in Philadelphia. Vestergaard’s legendary reliability and performance will be a significant and positive change to the airport deicing operation.”

Vestergaard Company presents a new version of the traditional Elephant® MY deicer, the MY Lite, at the inter airport Europe 2017, which takes place from 10-13 October at the Munich Trade Fair, Germany.
The MY Lite is a simplified, off the shelf version of the traditional full version MY.
“Our aim with the MY Lite has been to make quality deicers available at lower cost. By removing all frills and creating a simplified version of our traditional MY we can offer most of the same benefits with the less costly MY Lite. Of course operations needing more flexibility in the configuration and more options will still be better off investing in the full version and flexible MY, but we definitely feel that the MY Lite is a good option for those operations for which a MY investment is simply too big.”, says Anders Larsen, CSO with Vestergaard Company.
The new MY Lite is a 7,600 liter version with two tanks designed for operations using premix fluid for deicing and pure type II/IV for anti-icing, and will be present at Vestergaard Company’s stand D70 at the inter airport Europe exhibition, where representatives from all Vestergaard Company’s international markets will be present to demonstrate the MY Lite.

Vestergaard Company’s investment in Kalmar Motor is the result of a mutual agreement between the management of both companies that the two ground support equipment manufacturers – both based in Scandinavia – can further benefit from an elaborated future cooperation.
Since January 2015, Vestergaard Company Inc. in McHenry, Illinois, USA has served as Kalmar Motor’s service partner in North America. Vestergaard’s investment in Kalmar Motor shall be seen as a desire to further strengthen what has proved to be a fruitful and mutual beneficial cooperation between the two companies.

With effect from January 1st 2017 Anders Larsen is appointed Chief Sales Officer of Vestergaard Company. With his background as a mechanical engineer Anders Larsen originally started with Vestergaard as a development engineer, but for the latest several years he has mainly been involved in sales. Anders has been a key player in bringing Vestergaard Company to the leading market position the company has today. His unique technical background ensures the customer the best advice and services in the procurement of Vestergaard Company’s palette of Ground Service Equipment.
Also with effect from January 1st 2017 Lars Barsoee is appointed Vice President Sales and Marketing. With his background in economics and his many years of international sales and management experience, Lars takes over the responsibility for a number of our dedicated distributors and agents. Lars also has the overall responsibility for Vestergaard Company’s marketing efforts worldwide.
